  1. General statement<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

    Food Impact respects the privacy of its users (hereinafter \u201cUsers\u201d or, in the singular, \u201cUser\u201d) and its registered members (hereinafter \u201cMembers\u201d or, in the singular, \u201cMember\u201d), in line with the General Terms and Conditions of Use.\u00a0<\/p>

    Food Impact processes the personal data sent to it in accordance with the legislation in effect and in particular in line with the regulations for protecting privacy and personal data.\u00a0<\/p>

    Access to the Food Impact website (www.isali.com, hereinafter the \u201cSite\u201d) implies the total and unconditional acceptance by the User of this Privacy Charter (hereinafter the \u201cCharter\u201d), as well as its General Terms and Conditions of Use.\u00a0<\/p>

    Users and Members acknowledge that they have examined the information below and accordingly authorise Food Impact to process the personal data they pass on through the Site, in accordance with what is stated above.\u00a0<\/p>

    This Privacy Charter (hereinafter the \u201cCharter\u201d), as well as the General Terms and Conditions of Use, exclusively govern the relationship between the User or Member and Food Impact, with regard to the Site.\u00a0<\/p>

    Food Impact reserves the right to modify and update the Charter at any time and without notice by posting a revised version on the Site. Food Impact therefore recommends viewing it on a regular basis.\u00a0<\/p>

    1. Data controller<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

      Access to the information available on or via the Site takes place, in principle, without having to provide any personal data, such as name, postal address, e-mail address, etc.\u00a0<\/p>

      However, to be able to access the functionalities reserved for Members, it is necessary to transmit certain items of personal data. In this event, the data controller is FOOD IMPACT S.A., whose registered office is situated at 1170 Brussels, 24 Boulevard du Souverain, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 0451.284.877. Any question or enquiry regarding the processing of this data may be sent there, using the contact form available on this Site.<\/p>

      1. Information collected and purposes<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

        3.1. Data provided using the forms present on the Site\u00a0<\/p>

        By completing the forms provided for this purpose when registering as a Member, or once registered, the User or Member enables Food Impact to register and store certain items of data of a personal nature.\u00a0<\/p>

        This data will only be processed for the specific purposes stated (sending out newsletters, proper running of a competition, etc.) and will not be kept for longer than is necessary for these purposes to be fulfilled.\u00a0<\/p>

        3.2. Cookies\u00a0<\/p>

        In order to facilitate navigation on the Site, as well as to optimise its technical management, the Site may use \u201ccookies\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>

        A \u201ccookie\u201d is a small file containing information saved by a website on the computer of the User or Member. This cookie may be recovered on a subsequent visit to the same site. The cookie cannot be read by any website other than the one that created it. The Site uses cookies for the purposes of the proper administration of the Site, in particular to record the browsing preferences of the User or Member, or to obtain information about the pages viewed and dates and times they were viewed.\u00a0<\/p>

        Most cookies only function for the time spent on a session or visit. It is also possible for the User or Member to configure their browser to tell them each time a cookie is created or to prevent cookies from being recorded. However, deactivating cookies may prevent access to certain areas of the Site or make access more difficult.\u00a0<\/p>

        Food Impact does not control the use made of the cookies produced by third parties, such as cookies used by any advertisers or cookies resulting from the use of parts of the Site hosted by a third party.\u00a0<\/p>

        1. Communication to third parties<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

          This data is not intended to be passed on to third parties, except for those persons whose intervention is necessary to carry out the purposes stated in this Charter, or for competent public authorities when the law so requires.\u00a0<\/p>

          Food Impact only transfers data to countries that are not members of the European Union when such countries are able to ensure a sufficient level of protection in the sense of the applicable regulations or within the limits permitted by those regulations, for example by ensuring the protection of the data by appropriate contractual provisions.\u00a0<\/p>

          1. Direct marketing <\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

            This data will not be used for direct marketing purposes, except where the Member has given prior consent for this to be the case by ticking the appropriate boxes (\u201copt-in\u201d).\u00a0<\/p>

            In cases where the User or Member has given their consent for this information to be used for direct marketing purposes, the User or Member still retains the right to object at any time, on request and free of charge, to such use. All the User or Member has to do is submit their request, using the contact form on the Site.\u00a0<\/p>

            1. Security\u00a0<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

              Personal data is not transmitted securely. However, Food Impact has put security policies in place so that the servers hosting personal data that has been processed are able to prevent, to the extent that this is possible:\u00a0<\/p>

              \u2013 \u00a0any unauthorised access or modifications to this data;
              \u2013 \u00a0the inappropriate use or disclosure of this data;
              \u2013 \u00a0the unlawful destruction or accidental loss of this data.
              The employees of Food Impact who have access to this data are subject to a strict obligation of confidentiality with regard to the data.
              However, Food Impact may not under any circumstances be held liable in the event of this data being hacked by a third party, despite the security measures adopted.
              Any breaches of confidentiality, integrity and the availability of IT systems and the data stored, processed or transmitted by these systems, or any attempt to commit such a breach, are punishable by criminal sanctions.<\/p>

              1. Rights of the data subject<\/strong>
                Users or Members may, at any time, have access to their personal data and may request its amendment by registering on the Site.
                Users or Members may also request, free of charge, to have access to and amendment of all their personal data and, where appropriate, request it to be deleted, with the exception of data that Food Impact is required to retain by law, from the database of Food Impact by sending a written request, accompanied by a copy of their identity card or passport, to the data controller at the following address: Food Impact, 1170 Brussels, 24 Boulevard du Souverain. Food Impact will then take the necessary steps to comply with this request as soon as possible.<\/li><\/ol>
                1. Note regarding under-age minors.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>
